코로나19 시기에 척수장애인의 장애 수용과 여가경험이 삶의 질에 미치는 가치 탐구
Abstract
This study attempted to explore the leisure experiences of individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and their impact on well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through in-depth interviews with 15 SCI individuals, five key themes were identified: (1) disability acceptance and adaptation, (2) health management and rehabilitation, (3) leisure and social participation, (4) COVID-19’s impact, and (5) autonomy and independence. Findings suggest that leisure activities play a crucial role in fostering disability acceptance, promoting physical recovery, and mitigating social isolation. Digital leisure activities emerged as an alternative during the pandemic. The study highlights the need for policies supporting digital accessibility, community-based rehabilitation, and vocational training for economic self-sufficiency. Future research should incorporate larger sample sizes and quantitative methodologies to strengthen the findings.
