Abstract

This study examined differences in neighborhood physical environment satisfaction and leisure physical activity according to self-rated health among 500 adults aged 20–64 years during the pandemic. Descriptive statistics, Pearson’s chi-square tests, and Kruskal–Wallis tests were conducted using SPSS 28.0. Significant differences were found in satisfaction with the natural, living, and safety environments, with the poor health group reporting higher dissatisfaction than the good and moderate groups. No differences were found in healthcare or transportation environments. Moderate-intensity leisure physical activity was higher in the good and moderate groups than in the poor group, while vigorous-intensity activity was higher in the good group than in the moderate and poor groups. Low-intensity activity showed no significant difference. These findings highlight differences in environmental satisfaction and leisure physical activity according to self-rated health and suggest the need to support favorable community environments and physical activity participation.
